GEORGETTE HAMBOUSSI

I have been helping injured plaintiffs through the legal system for almost two decades. As a personal injury attorney, I am dedicated to representing injured plaintiffs against negligent individuals and insurance companies to obtain the maximum compensation for my clients. I have experience handling claims in the negotiation process and through all phases of litigation.

I graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor’s degree in History, and then went on to study Law at Thomas Cooley Law School in Michigan, where I was on the dean’s list and received the blue book merit award for criminal law. I received my Juris Doctor degree and then promptly began working in personal injury law. I am licensed in New York State, and have achieved several notable decisions for clients, including successfully overturning the Appellate Division Second Department decision by arguing in front of the Court of Appeals, the highest Court of the New York State, in the matter of Maureen Adler v. QPI-VIII, LLC. and other notable decisions including Caines v. Diakite and Knokhinov v. Murray.

I have also been recognized for trial verdicts and featured in the New York Law Journal Top Verdicts of 2014 for three verdicts ranging from $310,000.00 to $50,000.00. As well as the New York Law Journal Top Verdicts of 2015 for two verdicts for $150,000.00 and $60,000.00.
